These days, the only thing your eyes view more than your phone's home screen is the backside of your eyelids. So it goes without saying that whatever picture you have as your background gets old pretty fast.
If you're looking to spice things up, one of the best ways is to download the pre-installed wallpapers from another phone once yours are old hat. In contrast to cropping desktop backgrounds or trying to find a home screen-worthy photo, grabbing a stock wallpaper is simple and offers an elegant look. The app we'll highlight below makes this process incredibly easy, and it works for pretty much every phone out there.
Getting Stock Wallpapers
The app that makes it super easy to download stock wallpapers is called STOKiE, and it's available for free on the Google Play Store. However, if you'd like an ad-free experience, you can purchase STOKiE PRO for $2.49 instead.

When you open the app, you'll be on the Recent tab. This shows the newest wallpapers, generally from the newest phones. But if you just want to find something you like rather than a specific phone's wallpapers, I'd recommend switching to the Popular tab.
Alternatively, if you are looking for a specific phone's wallpapers, just type its name into the search field up top and press enter on your keyboard. You'll find pretty much any phone model in here.
Once you find something you like, go ahead and tap it. Here, you'll see a "Customize" button, which lets you apply a blur effect, desaturate, and more. But most of the time, you'll just want to hit the "Apply" button, then choose whether you want this photo on your home screen, lock screen, or both. Enjoy!
